Aerator

My kitchen faucet started to run very slowly so I decided to take apart the aerator and take a look around. Lo and behold, I found bits of calcified junk clogging it up. After a bit of blowing, rinsing and brushing I managed to clear it all. Unfortunately, I could not remember how to put it back together. It had x parts - the housing, 2 meshes, the housing for the meshes, 3 parts that looked like they are for pressurizing/flow control and a washer. The meshes and the mesh housing was easy, but there were several possible permutations of the flow control parts and the washer. I managed to get a jet of water coming out at a funny angle, to no aeration, to no water at all. For 1.5 hours and a lot of head scratching, screwing and unscrewing, it finally came together and my faucet was working like new. Now, do I take it apart again so I can take notes? Nah - leave it to next time.
